4. Our Services
BizSensei Digital provides the professional services described below. Every engagement begins with a discovery conversation, after which we issue a written quote or proposal. Work starts only after you approve the scope in writing and complete onboarding (access, brand assets, and any advance payment). Anything outside the approved scope is quoted separately before it begins — we do not do unbilled scope creep, in either direction.
Unless your proposal says otherwise: project work is billed as per the approved quote, normally with an advance before kickoff and the balance on milestones or completion; monthly retainers are billed 100% in advance on a 30-day cycle; and advertising budgets are always paid by you directly to the ad platforms (Google, Meta, LinkedIn) — our fees cover strategy, creative, engineering, and management only, never your media spend.
4.1 Performance Marketing
What is included: paid-media strategy and management across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads — account audits, campaign structure, audience and keyword research, ad copy and creative direction, pixel and conversion-tracking setup, A/B testing, budget allocation, and monthly performance reporting.
What is excluded: your actual ad spend (paid by you directly to the platforms); creative production beyond the agreed allowance (for example, video shoots or large design volumes are quoted separately); and management of ad accounts we have not been given proper access to.
Your responsibilities: provide admin access to ad accounts, analytics, and pixels promptly; approve creative and budgets within the agreed feedback windows; and ensure your landing pages and checkout work, because broken funnels invalidate campaign data. No outcome is guaranteed — see Section 19.2.
4.2 Web Development
What is included: design and build of websites, either hand-coded or on WordPress/WooCommerce, as specified in your proposal — including responsive layouts, core pages, forms, basic on-page SEO structure, performance optimisation to the agreed standard, and handover documentation.
What is excluded: domain registration and hosting costs (unless we explicitly bundle them); premium third-party themes, plugins, or stock assets beyond the agreed allowance; content writing beyond placeholder or the agreed copy scope; and ongoing maintenance after handover, which is available as a separate retainer.
Your responsibilities: supply final copy, images, and brand assets on schedule; review staging links within the agreed feedback windows; and arrange your own hosting and domain access unless we agree otherwise. Timelines depend on timely feedback — see Section 14.
4.3 Custom Software & Plugin Development
What is included: bespoke software builds — custom WordPress plugins, WooCommerce extensions, integrations, and small web applications — scoped in a written specification, built, tested, and delivered with deployment guidance.
What is excluded: hosting and infrastructure costs; maintenance after the agreed warranty or handover period; and compatibility with third-party systems that change their APIs after delivery (we can quote for adaptation work).
Ownership: on receipt of full payment, ownership of the final custom deliverables transfers to you as described in Section 15.1. We retain our pre-existing tooling, libraries, and know-how.
4.4 SEO & Google Business Profile
What is included: technical SEO audits, on-page optimisation, local SEO including Google Business Profile setup and optimisation, citation work, and content guidance as scoped in your proposal, with periodic ranking and traffic reporting.
What is excluded: guaranteed rankings or traffic levels — no honest SEO provider can promise these (see Section 19.2); paid link schemes or any black-hat technique (we will not do them, even if asked); and recovery from penalties caused by actions taken before or outside our engagement.
Your responsibilities: give us access to Search Console, Analytics, and your website CMS; implement (or authorise us to implement) the recommended changes; and understand that SEO compounds over months, not days.
4.5 Retention Marketing — Email & WhatsApp
What is included: setup and management of email and WhatsApp retention programmes — list and audience setup, campaign calendars, template and creative production to the agreed volume, automation flows (welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase), and performance reporting.
What is excluded: per-message or platform charges levied by WhatsApp/Meta, SMS gateways, or email providers (billed by those providers, not us); purchased or scraped contact lists (we will only message contacts you have lawfully collected with consent); and any messaging that violates platform policies or anti-spam law — we will refuse such work.
Your responsibilities: warrant that every contact you ask us to message has given proper consent; provide or approve message content on schedule; and maintain your own sender accounts in good standing.
4.6 UGC & Influencer Campaigns
What is included: creator sourcing and shortlisting, outreach and negotiation support, brief creation, content review against the brief, posting coordination, and campaign performance reporting, as scoped.
What is excluded: creator fees and product seeding costs beyond the agreed budget (paid by you or through the agreed budget); guaranteed reach, views, or sales from any creator; and control over a creator's audience or organic algorithm performance.
Your responsibilities: approve creators and briefs promptly; ship products to creators on time where seeding is involved; and ensure all paid partnerships are disclosed as advertising in line with applicable law — we will advise, but compliance is ultimately yours.
4.7 Social Media Retainers
What is included: the monthly content volume, platforms, formats, and community-management scope defined in your retainer proposal — typically content calendars, creative production, captions, scheduling, and monthly reporting.
What is excluded: paid boosting or ad spend (separate, paid by you to the platforms); content beyond the agreed monthly volume (quoted separately); and real-time community management outside agreed hours unless specified.
Your responsibilities: provide brand guidelines and timely approvals; grant page and account access; and understand that organic social growth depends on consistency and platform algorithms, which we do not control.
4.8 General Service Exclusions
Across all services, the following are never included unless explicitly written into your proposal: legal, tax, or financial advice; liability for the business outcomes of your decisions; work on systems or accounts you do not own or have rights to; anything illegal or in breach of a platform's policies; and training or documentation beyond the agreed handover. If you are ever unsure whether something is in scope, ask us in writing before assuming — a short email now prevents a dispute later.
